Darin brings over 20 years of experience helping nonprofits and political organizations transform their data operations. He has partnered with organizations such as Médecins Sans Frontières, Planned Parenthood, the Democratic National Committee, and the League of Conservation Voters, supporting efforts that range from grassroots campaigns to global fundraising programs. His background spans the full data lifecycle—from CRM management and database administration to mailshop operations and postal logistics—giving him a rare perspective on how data drives campaigns from start to finish.

Well-versed in the major fundraising CRMs and data platforms, Darin has extensive experience with systems including Salesforce NPSP, Blackbaud CRM, EveryAction/NGP, Raiser’s Edge, and leading data warehouses like BigQuery, Redshift, and Snowflake. Before joining Skeleton Key Strategies in 2025, he served as Senior Vice President of Data Services at MissionWired, where he built and led a business unit focused on data strategy and innovation. Earlier in his career, he gained hands-on experience in production and data management roles at Production Solutions and RST Marketing.

Based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Darin enjoys antiquing and thrift shopping with his wife of more than 20 years. They’re proud parents of two daughters—one a recent graduate and entrepreneur, and the other a senior at VCU studying film set design. Soon to be empty nesters, Darin and his wife are looking forward to life’s next chapter while he continues helping organizations harness the power of data to drive their missions forward.
